CADCA works to reduce substance abuse internationally through the establishment of multi-sector anti-drug community coalitions. CADCA offers training, technical assistance and other resources on how to build effective community coalitions to NGOs and community groups in numerous countries affected by the cultivation, trafficking and use of illicit drugs and alcohol problems. CADCA’s international trainings offer essential competencies and skills necessary to help create a culture of legality and bring about reductions – at the community level – in substance abuse rates. Since the inception of CADCA’s international work, CADCA has helped build over 200 coalitions in 23 countries on five continents.
